Randomized effectiveness‐implementation trial of dialectical behavior therapy interventions for young people with borderline personality disorder symptoms
Overview
This paper reports on a pragmatic trial comparing an 8-week group DBT skills program to a more intensive 16-week DBT-informed program for youth with emerging borderline personality disorder symptoms. The study found that both interventions led to significant improvements in emotion dysregulation and related outcomes, with no significant difference in effectiveness between the two approaches. The resource is intended for researchers and clinicians interested in the comparative effectiveness of different DBT delivery models.
