A Randomized Controlled Trial: Evaluating the Sleep, Cancer and Rest (SleepCaRe) Trial to Improve Health‐Related Quality of Life in Women Undergoing Chemotherapy for Breast Cancer
Overview
This paper reports a secondary analysis of a randomized controlled trial evaluating health-related quality of life in women with breast cancer undergoing chemotherapy. The study compared the effects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia, Bright Light Therapy, their combination, and an active control group over six weeks. Results indicate that CBT-I was associated with significant improvements in quality of life during the intervention period.
