Dispositional mindfulness, interoceptive awareness, and panic-agoraphobic spectrum, in a general population sample
Overview
This study examines the relationship between dispositional mindfulness, interoceptive awareness, and panic-agoraphobic spectrum symptoms in a general population sample of 141 adults. Using self-report measures, the authors found that higher levels of mindful attention and lower worry about bodily sensations were associated with less severe panic-spectrum phenomenology. The resource is relevant for researchers or clinicians interested in how interoceptive processing and mindfulness relate to subclinical anxiety symptoms.
