Online Compassion Focused Therapy for overeating: Feasibility and acceptability pilot study
Overview
This pilot study evaluates the feasibility and acceptability of an online Compassion Focused Therapy program for overeating among Portuguese women. The single-arm trial involved eighteen participants who completed assessments on eating behaviors, shame, self-criticism, and self-compassion at baseline, post-intervention, and follow-up. Results indicated low attrition, positive participant feedback, and improvements in self-compassion alongside reductions in eating psychopathology and shame.
