Cognitive remediation therapy (CRT-O) for young Indian adults living with overweight or obesity: a qualitative study of participant experience
Overview
This qualitative study explores the experiences of young Indian adults with overweight or obesity who completed a 28-session Cognitive Remediation Therapy (CRT-O) program for weight management. Through thematic analysis of semi-structured interviews, participants reported gaining new insights into their eating habits, improved self-control over food choices, and perceived physical and psychological benefits. The resource is relevant for researchers and clinicians interested in the feasibility and participant feedback regarding CRT-O as an intervention for disordered eating behaviors associated with obesity.
