Effectiveness of digital psychological and psychoeducational interventions to prevent anxiety: Systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Overview
This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluates the effectiveness of digital psychological and psychoeducational interventions for preventing anxiety in non-anxious populations. The authors analyzed 15 randomized controlled trials involving over 6,000 participants and found a small pooled effect size favoring these preventive measures. However, the study notes that the evidence quality is very low due to high risk of bias in most included trials and significant heterogeneity.
