Computer-assisted delivery of cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety disorders in primary-care settings
Overview
This paper describes a computer-assisted cognitive behavioral therapy program designed to support the delivery of evidence-based treatment for anxiety disorders in primary-care settings. It presents the program's structure and reports on its acceptance by clinicians and effectiveness for patients, including data from 261 participants. The authors conclude that such programs can help disseminate mental health treatments while maintaining fidelity, even with novice clinicians.
