The Effectiveness of Acceptance-Commitment Therapy (ACT) on Perceived Stress, Symptoms of Depression, and Marital Satisfaction in Women With Breast Cancer
Overview
This randomized controlled trial investigates the impact of group acceptance and commitment therapy on perceived stress, depression symptoms, and marital satisfaction in women with breast cancer. The study compares outcomes between a treatment group receiving eight sessions of therapy and a control group receiving routine management. Results indicate that the therapy was associated with improvements in the measured psychological and relational variables among participants.
