The Effect of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy on Depression and Psychological Flexibility in Women With Breast Cancer
Overview
This semi-experimental study examines the impact of eight sessions of acceptance and commitment therapy on depression and psychological flexibility in women with breast cancer. The research involved 20 participants randomly assigned to experimental or control groups, utilizing standardized questionnaires for assessment. Results indicated that the therapy group experienced significantly lower depression scores and higher psychological flexibility compared to the control group.
