The Effectiveness of the Unified Protocol on Emotional Dysregulation and Cognitive Emotion Regulation Strategies in Patients with Psychosomatic Disorders
Overview
This pilot study examines the impact of a 12-session group Unified Protocol on emotional dysregulation and cognitive emotion regulation strategies in 14 patients with psychosomatic disorders. The research reports significant reductions in total emotional dysregulation, specifically regarding non-acceptance and strategy factors, as well as decreased use of catastrophizing. The resource is intended for readers interested in clinical outcomes of emotion-focused cognitive-behavioral interventions.
