Examining the Feasibility of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Self-Help for Problematic Pornography Viewing
Overview
This pilot study evaluated the feasibility of a self-help Acceptance and Commitment Therapy program for adults with problematic pornography viewing. The open trial involved 19 participants who reported adequate acceptability, though only half completed sufficient reading of the material. Results indicated significant improvements in viewing problems and cognitive fusion that sustained at follow-up, particularly among those who read more.
