Cardiac rehabilitation patients experiences and understanding of group metacognitive therapy: a qualitative study
Overview
This qualitative study explores cardiac rehabilitation patients' experiences with group metacognitive therapy for depression and anxiety. Through interviews with 24 participants, researchers identified beneficial factors including peer interaction, staff expertise, and specific therapeutic techniques. The findings suggest that patients generally understood the intervention positively and perceived improvements in their well-being.
