Study protocol of the e-Intervention Enhancing Mental Health in Adolescents (IMPROVA) project: a randomised controlled trial to promote adolescents’ mental health and well-being in four European countries
Overview
This study protocol outlines a pragmatic cluster randomized controlled trial evaluating the IMPROVA e-intervention for adolescents in France, Germany, Romania, and Spain. The multi-level program targets mental health and well-being through tailored content for students, families, and school staff. Primary outcomes include overall mental health measured by the Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire, with secondary measures covering quality of life, depression, anxiety, social isolation, and self-esteem.
