Mindfulness‐based cognitive therapy on bereavement grief: Alterations of resting‐state network connectivity associate with changes of anxiety and mindfulness
Overview
This study investigates how an 8-week Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) program affects brain connectivity and emotional regulation in 19 bereaved individuals. The authors report that MBCT was associated with reduced internetwork connectivity in specific resting-state networks and linked changes in functional connectivity to improvements in mindfulness, anxiety, and emotion regulation. This resource is relevant for researchers or clinicians interested in the neural mechanisms underlying MBCT's effects on grief.
