The effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy on perceived stress, resilience, and the quality of life in thalassemia major patients
Overview
This semi-experimental study investigates the impact of an eight-week acceptance and commitment therapy program on 40 thalassemia major patients. The research compares outcomes between an experimental group receiving the intervention and a control group regarding perceived stress, resilience, and quality of life. Results indicate significant differences favoring the therapy group across all measured variables at post-test and follow-up stages.
