Internet delivered cognitive behavior therapy for antenatal depression: A randomised controlled trial
Overview
This randomized controlled trial evaluates a pregnancy-adapted 10-week internet-delivered cognitive behavior therapy (ICBT) program for pregnant women with major depressive disorder. The study compares the ICBT add-on to treatment as usual, measuring outcomes such as depressive symptoms, anxiety, and sleep quality using standardized scales. Results indicate that participants receiving ICBT showed significantly greater reductions in depressive symptoms compared to the control group, with acceptable levels of adherence and satisfaction.
