Internet‐delivered acceptance and commitment therapy as microlearning for chronic pain: A randomized controlled trial with 1‐year follow‐up
Overview
This randomized controlled trial evaluates iACT, an internet-delivered acceptance and commitment therapy format using daily microlearning exercises, for adults with chronic pain. The study compares the intervention against a waitlist condition, measuring outcomes such as pain interference, intensity, depression, anxiety, and quality of life. Results indicate significant improvements in multiple domains for the treatment group, with effects maintained at one-year follow-up.
