Effectiveness of Low-frequency rTMS and CBT in Reducing Symptoms Severity and Improving Cognitive Flexibility in Adults With OCD: A Clinical Trial
Overview
This randomized clinical trial compares the effects of low-frequency rTMS and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) on symptom severity and cognitive flexibility in 24 adults with OCD. The study reports that CBT resulted in greater immediate reduction in OCD symptoms compared to rTMS, while both interventions showed similar outcomes regarding cognitive flexibility. No significant differences between the groups were observed one month after the interventions concluded.
