Cross-Country Adaptation of a Psychological Flexibility Measure: The Comprehensive Assessment of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy Processes
Overview
This paper details the cross-cultural adaptation phase of the CompACT, a 23-item self-report measure of psychological flexibility used in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. The authors translated and culturally adapted the instrument for Italian, German, and Spanish contexts following established guidelines. The resource describes the translation process and cognitive debriefing results with general population and multiple sclerosis participants to establish semantic and conceptual equivalence.
