A comparison of telehealth versus in‐person group therapy: Results from a DBT‐based dual diagnosis IOP
Overview
This study compares the effectiveness of in-person versus videoconference Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) intensive outpatient programs for individuals with comorbid mental health and substance use disorders. The authors report that both delivery methods resulted in large reductions in depression, anxiety, and stress symptoms, with no significant differences between the groups. The resource is intended for providers considering remote group therapy formats.
