Up and Down or Down and Up? The Process of Change in Constructive Couple Behavior during Traditional and Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy
Overview
This study compares observed behavioral changes in couples undergoing Traditional (TBCT) versus Integrative Behavioral Couple Therapy (IBCT). It analyzes data from 134 distressed couples to identify distinct patterns of constructive and negative behavior shifts among treatment responders and non-responders. The findings describe how responder trajectories differ between the two modalities, offering insights for therapists monitoring behavioral markers during therapy.
