Effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy on psychological flexibility, fatigue, sleep disturbance, and quality of life of patients with cancer: A meta‐analysis of randomized controlled trials
Overview
This meta-analysis evaluates the effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) on psychological flexibility, fatigue, sleep disturbance, and quality of life in 1,643 cancer patients across 19 randomized controlled trials. The authors report that ACT significantly improved psychological flexibility and quality of life, but did not show significant effects on fatigue or sleep disturbance. Moderation analyses indicate that intervention duration and patient age influence these outcomes.
