Exploring the potential of acceptance and commitment therapy model in self‐care behaviour in persons with heart failure
Overview
This exploratory cross-sectional study investigates how cognitive fusion, mindfulness, and committed action interact to influence self-care behavior in individuals with heart failure, based on the acceptance and commitment therapy model. The research involved 165 participants recruited from two regional hospitals who completed self-report questionnaires. Results indicated that while individual variables had limited impact, their complex interactions significantly improved the model's fit for predicting self-care behavior.
