Effect of Telephone-Delivered Collaborative Goal Setting and Behavioral Activation vs Enhanced Usual Care for Depression Among Adults With Uncontrolled Diabetes
Overview
This randomized clinical trial evaluates a telephone-delivered intervention combining collaborative goal setting and behavioral activation for adults with uncontrolled diabetes and depression. The study compares this approach against enhanced usual care among 225 participants from a Veterans Healthcare System, measuring changes in depression symptoms and glycemic control over six and twelve months.
