Effectiveness of internet-delivered dialectical behavior therapy skills training on executive functions among college students with borderline personality traits: a non-randomized controlled trial
Overview
This non-randomized controlled trial examines the impact of internet-delivered dialectical behavior therapy skills training (DBT-ST) on perceived executive functions in 36 college students with borderline personality disorder traits. The study compares outcomes from a DBT-ST group, focusing on mindfulness and emotion regulation, against a control group receiving behavioral activation. Results indicate that the DBT-ST group showed greater improvements in initiating, planning, and organizing tasks compared to the control group.
