Adolescents’ Well-being While Using a Mobile Artificial Intelligence–Powered Acceptance Commitment Therapy Tool: Evidence From a Longitudinal Study
Overview
This longitudinal study examines the impact of Kai.ai, an automated conversational agent delivering Acceptance Commitment Therapy tools, on the well-being of 10,387 adolescents aged 14-18. The resource reports that participants' well-being scores significantly increased over their engagement with the app, eventually reaching clinically acceptable levels as measured by the WHO Well-being Index. The findings are presented as evidence for the potential of mobile-based interventions to support adolescent mental health.
