Effect of cognitive behavioral therapy on anxiety and pregnancy outcomes in mothers with IUGR: an assessor-blinded randomized controlled trial
Overview
This randomized controlled trial examines the impact of four CBT sessions on anxiety and fetal growth in pregnant women with stage 1 intrauterine growth restriction. The study reports that participants receiving CBT experienced significant reductions in pregnancy-related anxiety compared to a control group receiving routine care. Additionally, the authors note improvements in fetal growth indices, such as abdominal circumference percentiles, within the intervention group.
