Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for lung cancer patients and their partners: Results of a mixed methods pilot study
Overview
This mixed-methods pilot study evaluates the feasibility and potential benefits of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction for 19 lung cancer patients and 16 partners. The resource reports that while caregiver burden significantly decreased, no significant changes were observed in psychological distress levels among participants. It concludes by noting the intervention's feasibility and the need for further randomized controlled trials to assess effectiveness.
