Effectiveness of mindfulness-based interventions on quality of life in women breast cancer survivors: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Overview
This systematic review and meta-analysis evaluates the impact of mindfulness-based interventions on the quality of life for women who have completed primary breast cancer treatment. The authors analyzed data from twelve randomized controlled trials involving 1,620 participants to compare mindfulness practices against standard care. The study reports a small but statistically significant improvement in quality of life, with moderate certainty evidence and noted heterogeneity across the included protocols.
