Increasing psychological flexibility is associated with positive therapy outcomes following a transdiagnostic ACT treatment
Overview
This study examines changes in psychological flexibility among 90 patients undergoing transdiagnostic Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in a psychiatric day hospital setting. It assesses how increases in flexibility correlate with reductions in symptomatology and improvements in quality of life and functioning at admission, discharge, and follow-up. The resource is relevant for researchers or clinicians interested in the mechanisms of change within ACT interventions.
