Dialectical behavior therapy-skills system for cognitively challenged individuals with self-harm: a Swedish pilot study
Overview
This paper reports on a Swedish pilot study evaluating the Dialectical Behavior Therapy-Skills System (DBT-SS) for cognitively challenged individuals exhibiting self-harm and emotion regulation difficulties. The authors suggest that DBT-SS may be a promising treatment within this context and propose directions for future randomized controlled trials.
