Artificial intelligence technologies and compassion in healthcare: A systematic scoping review
Overview
This systematic scoping review examines the conceptual relationship between artificial intelligence technologies and compassion within healthcare systems. It analyzes literature published between 2011 and 2022 to identify how AI is discussed in relation to compassionate care, its potential to enhance such behaviors, and existing gaps in current knowledge. The resource is intended to inform future research and practice regarding the intersection of technology and prosocial caring behaviors.
