A Conceptual Framework of Digital Therapeutic Alliance in Internet-Based Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy: A Qualitative Study
Overview
This qualitative study proposes a conceptual framework for the digital therapeutic alliance in guided internet-based cognitive-behavioral therapy, based on interviews with 20 clients and 6 counselors. It identifies four key components—roles, interactions, characteristics, and influencing factors—that define how clients and providers engage through digital platforms. The resource is intended for researchers and clinicians interested in understanding the dynamics of remote therapeutic relationships.
