Effectiveness of Group Dialectical Behavior Therapy (Based on Core Distress Tolerance and Emotion Regulation Components) on Expulsive Anger and Impulsive Behaviors
Overview
This study evaluates the effectiveness of group dialectical behavior therapy, focusing on distress tolerance and emotion regulation, for reducing expulsive anger and impulsive behaviors in female patients. The semi-experimental design compared an experimental group receiving eight sessions over two months against a control group. Results indicated that the intervention was effective in addressing these specific behavioral issues.
