Group dialectical behavior therapy skills training versus group cognitive behavioral therapy for adults with ADHD: a randomized controlled trial
Overview
This randomized controlled trial compares the efficacy of group dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) and group cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for adults with ADHD in China. The study involved 98 participants receiving 12 weeks of intervention, with assessments tracking core symptoms, emotional regulation, and executive function over six months. Results indicated that both treatments led to improvements across multiple domains, but no significant differences were found between the groups, and formal non-inferiority of DBT relative to CBT was not established.
