Mindfulness-based interventions for binge eating: an updated systematic review and meta-analysis
Overview
This systematic review and meta-analysis updates previous findings on mindfulness-based interventions for binge eating by analyzing 54 studies published over the last decade. The resource reports medium-large effects for these interventions compared to non-psychological controls, while noting negligible differences when compared to active psychological controls. It is intended for researchers and clinicians interested in the current evidence base, intervention types, and study characteristics associated with mindfulness-based treatments for binge eating.
