Effectiveness of group-based acceptance and commitment therapy on the difficulty emotional regulation and distress tolerance patients with essential hypertension
Overview
This study evaluates the effectiveness of eight sessions of group-based acceptance and commitment therapy on emotional regulation and distress tolerance in women with essential hypertension. Forty participants were randomly assigned to control or experimental groups, with outcomes measured via standardized questionnaires. The results indicate that the intervention group experienced significant improvements in distress tolerance and reductions in emotion regulation difficulties compared to the control group.
