Cognitive‐behavioral couple therapy for same‐sex female couples: A pilot study
Overview
This pilot study evaluates a culturally tailored cognitive-behavioral couple therapy designed specifically for distressed same-sex female couples. The intervention integrates the sexual minority stress model with established therapeutic frameworks and was delivered to eleven couples in an open-trial format. Results indicate significant reductions in relationship distress and improved coping with minority stress, alongside high participant satisfaction.
