Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy for Stress Reduction in Family Carers of People Living with Dementia: A Systematic Review
Overview
This systematic review evaluates the efficacy of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for reducing stress among family carers of individuals with dementia. The authors analyzed seven eligible studies and found statistically significant reductions in self-rated carer stress in four trials, along with improvements in burden, depression, and anxiety in one adequately powered study. The resource is intended for researchers and clinicians interested in evidence-based interventions for caregiver well-being.
