Effectiveness of acceptance and commitment therapy on psychological well-being, quality of life and depression in patients with epilepsy
Overview
This quasi-experimental study examines the impact of acceptance and commitment therapy on psychological well-being, quality of life, and depression in 76 patients with epilepsy. Participants were divided into experimental and control groups, with the former receiving eight sessions of group therapy. The authors report significant improvements in the measured outcomes for the treatment group compared to the control group.
