Adaptation and feasibility piloting of a parent-led CBT intervention for youth with anxiety in Czechia
Overview
This paper describes the adaptation and feasibility piloting of a parent-led CBT program for youth anxiety in Czechia, originally developed at the University of Oxford. The study utilized mixed-methods approaches, including stakeholder workshops and interviews, to culturally adapt the intervention before testing it with twelve parents. Results indicated significant reductions in child anxiety and high acceptability among participants, suggesting the program's potential for future implementation in the Czech mental health system.
