Efficacy of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy in Prevention of Depressive Relapse
Overview
This paper presents a meta-analysis of individual patient data from randomized trials to evaluate the efficacy of mindfulness-based cognitive therapy for preventing depressive relapse in individuals with recurrent depression. The study compares MBCT against usual care and other active treatments, including antidepressants, using data collected through November 2014. It is intended for researchers and clinicians interested in non-pharmacological interventions for mental health.
