Overview
This article presents an experimental study evaluating the effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for enhancing wellness among first-year university students. The research utilized a pre-post control group design with 58 participants to measure changes in wellness levels following ten sessions of group counseling. Results indicated that the experimental group achieved higher wellness scores compared to the control group, suggesting ACT is a feasible intervention for this population.
