Effectiveness of technology-assisted vs face-to-face cognitive behavioural therapy for anxiety and depression in children and young people: A systematic review and meta-analysis
Overview
This systematic review and meta-analysis compares the effectiveness of technology-assisted cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with face-to-face CBT for treating anxiety and depression in children and young people. The authors analyzed ten eligible studies to determine if digital delivery methods, such as videoconferencing or online platforms, yield comparable outcomes to traditional in-person sessions. The resource is primarily intended for researchers and clinicians interested in evidence-based comparisons of therapeutic modalities.
