Effectiveness of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Integrated Behavioral Couples Therapy on Intimacy and Family Functioning in Divorce-seeking Couples
Overview
This quasi-experimental study compares Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Integrated Behavioral Couples Therapy (IBCT) for divorce-seeking couples in Iran. The research evaluates the impact of these interventions on intimacy and family functioning using standardized scales. Results indicate that both therapies significantly improved outcomes compared to a control group, with no significant difference observed between the two therapeutic approaches.
