A Comparison of the Effectiveness of Cognitive – Behavioral Couple Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Couple Therapy in the Couple’s Conflict in the City of Isfahan
Overview
This quasi-experimental study compares Cognitive-Behavioral Couple Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Couple Therapy for reducing marital conflict among couples in Isfahan. The research involved 15 couples in each experimental group and 15 in a control group, all receiving twelve weekly sessions. Results indicate that both therapies significantly reduced conflict compared to the control group, with no significant difference observed between the two therapeutic approaches.
