Prenatal Emotion Dysregulation, Respiratory Sinus Arrhythmia, and Mindfulness Predict Toddler Socioemotional Development
Overview
This longitudinal study investigates the relationship between prenatal maternal emotion dysregulation, respiratory sinus arrhythmia, and mindfulness on toddler socioemotional development at 18 months. It analyzes data from 385 mother-toddler dyads to determine how maternal physiological markers and self-reported mindfulness moderate these developmental outcomes. The resource is primarily intended for researchers or clinicians interested in early childhood development and maternal mental health.
