The efficacy of functional-analytic psychotherapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (FACT) for public employees
Overview
This study evaluates a brief, individualized intervention combining Functional Analytic Psychotherapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy for public administration employees. The research utilized a pretest-posttest design with a waiting list control group to assess changes in distress, burnout, psychological flexibility, depression, anxiety, and stress among participants. Results indicated statistically significant improvements in several mental health metrics for the intervention group compared to the control group.
