Effects of non-pharmacological interventions on sleep quality in older adults: a systematic review and network meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials
Overview
This systematic review and network meta-analysis evaluates the effectiveness of various non-pharmacological interventions for improving sleep quality in adults aged 60 and older. The study compares outcomes across multiple modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I), music therapy, and traditional Chinese health-promotion exercises, using data from thirty-four randomized controlled trials. It is primarily intended for researchers and clinicians interested in evidence-based comparisons of sleep interventions for the elderly population.
