Making the Connection
Overview
This CBT handout presents two-part exercises designed to illustrate the link between self-statements and resulting emotions. Part One provides scenarios with example thoughts and asks readers to identify associated feelings, while Part Two reverses this by providing feelings for which readers must generate corresponding self-statements. The resource is intended for educational use in understanding cognitive processes within daily situations.
